6. Approve the Transfer

You may receive confirmation emails from both GoDaddy and Wix. Follow the instructions in these emails to approve the transfer.

7. Wait for Completion

The transfer process usually takes 5-7 days to complete. Once finished, your domain will be fully managed through your GoDaddy account.

Important Considerations

DNS Settings: After the transfer completes, review your DNS settings in GoDaddy. If you want to continue using your Wix website, you'll need to update the DNS records to point to Wix's servers.

Website Continuity: Your website will remain online during the transfer process, so there's no need to worry about downtime.

Domain Privacy: If you had domain privacy protection with Wix, you'll need to set it up again in GoDaddy after the transfer.
