Embedding Instagram Content on Wix

There are two effective methods to display Instagram content on your Wix website: embedding individual posts or adding a complete Instagram feed.

Method 1: Embed a Single Instagram Post

To showcase a specific Instagram post on your Wix site:

1. Navigate to the Instagram post you want to embed and click the three dots ('…') in the upper right corner
2. Select the 'Embed' option from the menu
3. Copy the embed code that Instagram generates
4. In your Wix editor, click the Plus icon on the left-hand menu and go to the Embed section
5. Click 'Enter Code' and paste the Instagram embed code into the HTML element
6. Resize the embedded element to fit your design and click 'Update' or 'Publish'

This method works perfectly when you want to highlight a specific post or announcement.

Method 2: Add a Complete Instagram Feed

For displaying multiple Instagram posts as a dynamic feed:

1. Open your Wix Editor and click "Add Apps" on the left side (the plus icon)
2. Search for "Instagram Feed" in the search bar
3. Select an Instagram Feed app from the results and click "Add to Site"
4. After installation, click the app in your editor and select "Account Settings"
5. Click "Connect" to authenticate and link your Instagram account

Important Note: Instagram now requires a Creator or Business account for website integrations. Personal accounts are no longer supported for these features.

Once connected, your Instagram posts will automatically display on your Wix page, and you can customize the layout and appearance to match your website's design. This method keeps your content fresh as new posts are added automatically.
