How do I embed an Instagram feed on my Wix website?

Using the Wix Instagram Feed App

The simplest method is using the native Instagram Feed app from the Wix App Market:

  1. Open your Wix Editor and navigate to the page where you want to add your Instagram feed
  2. Click "Add Apps" on the left side of the editor (the plus icon)
  3. Search for "Instagram Feed" in the search bar
  4. Select the Instagram Feed app from the results and click "Add to Site"
  5. Authenticate your Instagram account following the secure connection process
  6. Configure your feed settings to customize how your posts display

Important Note: Instagram now requires you to have either a Creator or Business account to use Instagram feed integrations. Personal accounts are no longer supported for website integrations.

Alternative Method: Using HTML Embed Code

For more customization options, you can use third-party widget providers:

  1. Generate your embed code from your chosen widget provider (such as Elfsight or EmbedSocial)
  2. Customize your Instagram feed by selecting templates, adjusting colors, fonts, and layout
  3. Copy the embed code provided
  4. In your Wix Editor, click the Plus icon and go to the Embed section
  5. Select "Embed a Widget" or "HTML iFrame"
  6. Paste the generated code into the code field
  7. Click "Apply" or "Update" to save and publish
