How to Delete Your Wix Account

Deleting your Wix account is a permanent action that requires careful preparation. Before you can close your account, you'll need to complete several important steps to ensure all associated services are properly terminated.

Prerequisites Before Account Deletion

Before you can delete your Wix account, you must:

Cancel All Premium Subscriptions
Navigate to your account's "Premium Subscriptions" section and cancel any active plans, including website subscriptions, domain registrations, mailboxes, or apps. This ensures you won't be charged after account deletion.

Remove All Domains
If you've connected external domains to your Wix account, remove them first. Go to the "Domains" section, click the three-dot icon next to each domain, and select "Remove from Wix."

Delete All Websites
Wix requires that all websites be deleted before closing your account. From your dashboard, select each site, click "Site Actions," and choose "Move to Trash." Repeat this process for every website.

Back Up Your Data
Export any important website content, emails, or data you want to preserve. Once your account is deleted, all information will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
