How do I delete a page on my Wix website?
Deleting a page from your Wix website is a straightforward process that can be completed in just a few clicks. Whether you're cleaning up your site structure or removing outdated content, this guide will walk you through the steps.
Accessing the Pages Menu
Start by logging into your Wix account and opening your website in the Wix Editor. On the left sidebar, you'll find the Pages & Menu icon—click it to view all the pages on your website.
Selecting the Page to Delete
Once you're in the Pages & Menu section, browse through the list of pages to find the one you want to remove. This works for any type of page, including portfolio pages, blog pages, or custom pages you've created.
Deleting the Page
Click the three dots (More Actions menu) next to the page name you want to delete. From the dropdown menu that appears, select Delete. A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure you want to proceed with the deletion—confirm your choice to permanently remove the page from your site.
Important Considerations
If you accidentally delete a page, don't panic. You can immediately use the editor's undo button to restore it. However, once you save and publish your changes, the deletion becomes permanent, so make sure you're removing the right page before publishing.
Keep in mind that deleting a page will also remove any internal links pointing to it, which could affect your site's navigation. It's a good practice to check your menu and other pages for broken links after deletion.
