Troubleshooting embedded Jotform forms on Wix
Featured Apps
If an embedded Jotform form does not look right on Wix, the issue is usually layout, height, mobile behavior, or form settings. Jotform Form Embed keeps the setup simple, but it is still worth testing the form like a visitor before publishing.
Form is cut off
Increase the height of the embedded area and preview the page again. Long forms need more vertical space, especially when they include conditional fields, multi-step sections, or confirmation messages.
Form is hard to use on mobile
Open the page on a phone and check field size, spacing, and scrolling. Avoid small embedded boxes that create nested scrolling. A visitor should be able to move through the form naturally without zooming or swiping sideways.
Submissions are not arriving
Submit a test entry and check the Jotform inbox, notification settings, spam folder, and any connected integrations. If a form is embedded correctly but notifications fail, the problem may be in the Jotform notification workflow rather than Wix.
Thank-you message is awkward
After submission, confirm that the thank-you message or redirect fits within the Wix page. If the confirmation is too tall or hidden below the fold, visitors may think nothing happened.
Quick test list
- Submit the form on desktop.
- Submit the form on mobile.
- Check required fields and validation errors.
- Confirm the thank-you state.
- Verify email notifications and integrations.
A good embedded form should feel boring in the best way: easy to find, easy to fill out, and clearly submitted.
