How do I add Google Analytics to my Wix website to track visitor traffic?

Before you begin

To connect Google Analytics to a Wix site, you need a Google Analytics 4 property with a Measurement ID, plus a Premium site and a connected domain.

Connect Google Analytics

In your Wix dashboard, open Marketing Integrations. Under Google Tag, select Connect, then choose Add Google Tag ID. Paste the Google Analytics Measurement ID and save.

Check tracking

It may take time for statistics to appear in Google Analytics. Use the Realtime report to confirm activity, and make sure your cookie-consent setup allows analytics only after the required visitor consent is provided.

Avoid adding duplicate tracking implementations. If you use Google Tag Manager or custom tracking code, confirm that it does not send duplicate events alongside the Wix Google Tag connection.
